Seens odd that I do not have a area of expertise after doing the same job for over 15 years. I have come to grips with the loss of my wife to cancer. I am also also remarried to a sweet and lovong lady by the name of Amber.
The wifey now has her own M1911A1 Yea for her!!!! the
trigger has a bit to much play for me and it takes a mack truck to get
the gun to go bang. Other then that it is a sweet gun. It is the .45ACP
Springfield G.I. Champion with a 4 inch barrel. She put 100 round down
range today, the groups were nice and tight, but a bit on the low side,
I think that was do to the fact I have been loading for a full lenght
barrel 1911. The loads are target loads custom loaded for both of the
full lenght 1911's so I need to sit down and find a load that her gun
likes to eat. I have found that a shorter Barrel most of the time needs
a slightly heaver load but I have also come across shorteys that like a
lighter load.
The Amber takes over the world gun
On
to ther things gun topics well, not really. She picked the weapon up
Saturday and was offered an $70 Bianchi Holster for $30. I had not
updated my check book and did not know if would could get it or not so
we told the sales clerk that we would be in Sunday if we had the money
to get it. We came home and I blanced out the check book and figured if
a few things waited to next month we could pick it up. So sunday we got
up and drove down to Shooter's Station in Conroe and load and behold
they were closed for mothers day. So we drove back to Huntsville .
Today we drove back down and the salesperson gave her the Holster for
free. I mean like no money free. She we headed back up to Huntsville
popped out to the range and burned some powder, and killed some
targets.
Free $70 Bianchi Holster
One
thing She really did not like was the fact that it had wood grips and
she likes Pachmayr type grips, so I pulled the grips off the Norinco
and swapped then with the Springfield grips. You have to love the idea
of a Norinco with Springfield grips that have U.S. carved in to them.
Plus the Cocobolo grips look better on the Black Norinco any how.
Pretty
So that is the story of my pretty wife and her new pretty gun
I have been doing some cooking in the
last few days and I have come up with a few things that are a big hit
around the house. Keeping mind these recipes feed two peple. So I am
going to share them with you and maybe you can try them and let me know
how they came out and if you may have changed anything on them:
Amber’s Noodles:
Noodles
Sauce: ¼ Cup Llano Estacado Sweet Red Wine 3 tablespoons unbleached sugar 1/8 cup Olive oil 1 Teaspoon crushed red peppers 1 Teaspoon garlic powder 1 Tablespoon garlic wine vinegar 1 Teaspoon lemon peel
Place
noodles on to cook. Place olive oil in a frying pan bring to a simmer
slowly add the wine stir for 30 seconds. Slowly add the garlic vinegar
then stir for 30 to 45 seconds, add sugar stir to completely dissolved,
Add both the crushed red pepper and the garlic powder stir for 30
seconds. Now add the lemon peel stir for one minute remove from heat
let stand. After the noodles have finished cooking drain water place
back in pot then reheat the sauce if needed. Pour sauce over noodles
mix in then serve.
Now on to the next dish.
Red Wine Chicken & Rice:
Rice Olive Oil 1 Pound chicken (what ever meat you like, I used thighs) 1 Cup Llano Esacado Sweet Red Wine ½ Cup garlic wine vinegar 5 Tablespoons unbleached sugar 1 Tablespoon crushed red pepper 1 Tablespoon salt 1 Teaspoon black pepper 1 Tablespoon basil 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
Start
rice to cooking in a steamer or on stove top does not matter. Do not
use frozen chicken!! Take the chicken cut up in to bite sized chunks.
Mix all dry ingredients together, fill a wok just over ½ full with
olive oil bring to a simmer, slowly add the lemon juice and garlic
vinegar stir for 2 ½ minutes then slowly add the dry ingredients stir
for 3 minutes. Slowly add the sweet red wine and stir for 1 ½ minutes.
Bring oil up slow boil then add chicken, After all of the chicken has
been cooked and removed from oil let set. When the rice has finished
cooking place rice in a pot and or sauce pan add the chicken mix
together, pour ¼ to ½ cup of oil over chicken and rice and serve.
On March 2, 2007 at about 17:00hrs I of my own freewill jumped out of
an airplane from 11500 feet above the ground. Here is the video to
prove it. I had to upload it to YouTube on a private account so it
could be viewed So enjoy.
Took the Daisy Dog to the dog park today
and we had fun. I am post alot of images. Some of the images are
blurrey, and it being winter and cold the trees do not have any leaves.
Enjoy

A few minutes later some other dogs
showed up and after she was done sniffing the humans that brought them
she wanted to play with the other
dogs.

More and smaller dogs Daisy had to go

I would like to start this post with I am not a very big Kevin Costner fan I like Ashton Kutcher even less. Don’t get me wrong I do not dislike them I just do not care for their acting style. Now that I gotten that out of my system I have to say that the Move The Guardian was pretty good. The best part of the movie is when Ashton Kutcher’s charter has just beaten all of Kevin Costner’s records and Costner’s charter has spent most of the night trying to them back, then it cuts to him at Maggie’s bar talking to his old friend Maggie McGlone and the both of them get to talking about getting old. Then she breaks out with one of the best things I have heard on getting old that I have heard in along time. Keep in mind this quote is from a female but you can see as you need to for your gender needs. So if you have a few bucks and want to hear this quote in context rent the movie. It is by far the best part in the movie.
Maggie McGlone: "If my muscles hurt, it just means I've used them. If it hurts to walk up the stairs, it's just cause I've done it a hundred times to lay down next to a man who loved me. My face may have wrinkles, but I have laid under hundreds of skies on sunny days. I look like this, well, because I drank and I smoked and I lived and I loved and I screwed my way through a pretty damn good life. Getting old isn't bad. It's earned."
This is one of the best movie quotes that I have heard in a very long time. Some one in Hollywierd fucked up and came up with something good and makes people think about life. So you know that person has been fired. When it comes down to it this movie is Backdraft in water. It does have a few good parts, it is worth picking up to own, but rent it first.
